“the other bing”?

Me. In a nutshell.

Daphne and I

I want to be an example of God’s love, and to share his love for the world with those around me. My goal is to help the poor and needy meet their physical needs and to be advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves, especially children.

Why do I do it?

Psalm 82:3-4 “Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”

Proverbs 31:8-9 — “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”

It’s hard enough for us when we see young kids begging on the streets, child soldiers, and the other difficult circumstances we see children in. How much more difficult is it for God, their creator and heavenly Father?  The more time I spend with God and I read the Bible, the more I see how much it hurts him when he sees kids in hard situations. This is why I took the Children at Risk School. I wanted to learn more about how to do ministry with children. I am going to graduate school to study social work. I am excited to be taking steps towards my calling, to be a voice for “those who cannot speak for themselves.”
